Jisc has recently developed a T&I managed services platform, Liberate, and is in the middle of rebuilding its own federation backend which will incidentally allow us to offer a Managed Federation Service. This talk will give a quick overview of these, but then concentrate on discussing the requirements from our communities that have led us to build these in the first place - namely, their wanting to outsource the management of complex systems like SAML and eduroam IdPs (and running federations!), and attempt to start a long term discussion on how we can all use these developing requirements as an opportunity to increase the quality of T&I systems worldwide.
