The landscape of Asia’s R&E regional networks has changed considerably since 2017. The R&E networks have grown in pervasiveness with the TEIN projects, most recently called Asi@connect. But equally important is the formation of the Asia Pacific Ring, establishing multi-100G links across the Pacific. Fast forward to 2019 and you would see multiple 100G links from Asia to Europe. This presentation and poster will share the current status and the vision for us to work together to build the services required for seamless collaborations between Europe, Asia and globally.
