Francis Lee

Assoc. Professor Francis Lee Bu Sung, is a faculty member of School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.He was the founding President of Singapore Advanced Research and Education Networks(SingAREN), which was formed in 2003. He is currently the Vice-President of SingAREN.

Regionally, he was the Chair of the Governors of TEIN*CC, the organisation managing the TEIN project funded by EU, from 2012-2018. Francis Lee was elected as a member of the advisory council of TEIN*CC in 2018. He is also the Program Committee Chair of the Asia Pacific Advanced Network(APAN), which holds meeting twice a year.

Francis Lee was instrumental in the formation of the Asia Pacific Ring, a multi-100G links across the Pacific Ocean.
