Lukáš Kekely received his Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Information Technology at the Brno University of Technology in 2017 and continues there as a postdoc researcher. Furthermore, he is an FPGA designer at CESNET since 2011 where he currently holds a position of the main coordinator of research project FOKUS. Lukáš’s research is focused mainly on hardware (FPGA) accelerated approaches for high-speed networks, particularly in the area of monitoring and security. His substantial experiences in this area were obtained by working on a number of European and locally funded projects. He is also an author of several novel hardware architectures and many research papers published at renowned international conferences.
