Roland van Rijswijk-Deij

Roland works for SURFnet, the National Research and Education Network
in the Netherlands where he leads R&D projects in the area of network security. Next to his work at SURFnet Roland is assistant professor computer network security at the University of Twente. His research interests lie at the crossroads of DNS and network security. Roland obtained an M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Twente in 2001 and a cum laude Ph.D. in computer science from the same university in 2017. In his spare time Roland very much enjoys finding new places to go scuba diving.
