Maria Ristkok

Maria is the leader of the GÉANT cloud adoption support team, working as the Project Manager at EENet of HITSA, the Estonian Education and Research Network.

The GÉANT cloud adoption support team helps National Research and Education Networks and their users adopt new ways and tools of communication and online service delivery. She has 18 years of experience in the European networking community, having had different roles, both technical (eeTLD Hostmaster) and non-technical at EENet; the GÉANT project teams (Communication, Campus Best Practice, Intelligence Gathering, Clouds) and community task forces. She has been the chair and co-chair of the GÉANT task force on marketing communication and public relations and is currently member of SIG-Marcomms Steering Committee.
